The main part of Russian large oil and gas deposits has entered the last stage of extraction. Subsoil users have faced a complicated task: how to magnify power of oil and gas recovery factor ultimately and how to involve undeveloped reserves. Along with down spacing and production zone subdivision, it’s vital to research wells’ stock on operating deposits to reveal undeveloped oil-saturated and gas-saturated intervals. Estimation of these reserves and permanent geologicalreservoir model simulation will allow to develop unrecovered oil and gas in the optimal way.

Method of electrical logging through cased wells can be very efficient for this purpose.

Application purposes of INTECH-NEL device

Application of NEL technology allows achieving the following goals:

• Determination of the current oil-and-gas saturation in incumbent objects and objects under development;
• Prediction of the content of fluid influx;
• Revealing of missed oil-gas-saturated formations in long-term producing fields;
• Field monitoring to determine the change of current saturation, OWC and OGC;
• Replenishment of missing data on openhole electrical logging.

Due to the electrical logging method, it is possible to determine the current oil recovery ratio. Therefore there is a supplementary production level in producing fields without drilling new wells.
