History

TimeZYX group is an exclusive Russian engineer of the full-scale import-substituting software for geological modeling, reservoir simulation and monitoring of the oil and gas field development.

TimeZYX program suite is a continuation of the TRAST software project, started in 2004 on initiative of the Ministry of natural resources of the Russian Federation and the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.

For all the time, devoted to the development, implementation and using of the program suite, we have gained the following advantages: multilingual interface, on-line technical support, reasonable price and beneficial license policy, certification within the State Standard system GOST R. It is recommended by the CDC Rosnedra.

TimeZYX program suite has become the first software for geological modeling and reservoir simulation to be certified within the State Standard system GOST R and recommended by the Central Development Commission of oil and gas fields (CDC) Rosnedra for creating the real geological-reservoir models of the oil and gas fields. The National Standard “Oil and oil-and-gas fields. Regulations for the development designing”, came into effect in 2011, stipulates the obligatory use of the software, certified in accordance with the established procedure, for preparing and expertizing the project design documentation. TimeZYX program suite has been tested in the standard test system SPE and by other tests, recommended by the CDC Rosnedra.

Algorithms of the TimeZYX program suite for PC and supercomputers, jointly approbated with the worldwide and Russian leaders in parallel computing, allow to carry out the efficient distributed calculations and projects as soon as possible. TimeZYX solutions in demand are: modeling of complex fields with fracturing of different scale, modeling of giant fields (more than 1 bln of cells), sector modeling and optimization of pattern of wells, sideholes (including the ones with horizontal endings), hydraulic fracturing parameters, autoexpertize and automated comparison of models.

TimeZYX program suite includes the dedicated convertors, which support the most of well-known industrial data formats. In cooperation with the Clients, models may be imported from the other program complexes to the TimeZYX program suite. The use of industrial DBMS MS SQL allows to carry out the geological modeling and reservoir simulation in the multi-user “seamless” iterative process and use the results immediately for development optimization, update of models after receiving new initial data. Program suite possess the functions to upload the modeling results either in TimeZYX formats, or in other formats, necessary for the Client (Schlumberger or Roxar).

TimeZYX program suite is recommended by Resolution of the CDC ROsnedra as of 19.05.2005 for designing and analyzing the field development. A number of TimeZYX program modules were examined at special meetings of the CDC Rosnedra. MKT modules of reservoir simulation block of the TimeZYX program suite were recommended by Resolution of the CDC ROsnedra as of 13.12.2006 for building the reservoir simulation models and monitoring of the field development, as well as for teaching the specialists of the oil and gas fields in universities. Expertize module was examined at meeting of the CDC Rosnedra as of 07.07.2006 and recommended to be used by the design and expertizing organizations for evaluating the digital models.
